Private Pilot License (PPL)
The Private Pilot License (PPL) is the first step to starting an exciting career in aviation. You will achieve an internationally recognised ICAO compliant license. (ICAO = International Civil Aviation Organisation)
The training for Private Pilot License (PPL) consists of the following:
- Theory & Exams
- Aircraft Technical and General
- Flight Planning and Performance
- Air Law
- Navigation
- Instruments
- Radio Aids and Communication
- Meteorology
- Human Performance and Limitations
- Principles of Flight
- Restricted Radio Telephony Communication Licence
- Flight Exercise & Briefings
- Minimum of 45hrs flying hours
- Flight test for Private Pilot License (PPL)
The requirements for Private Pilot License (PPL)
- Age minimum of 16 years
- Medical fit (Class 2 aviation medical certificate)
- Language proficiency Level 4 (must be able to read, write, and converse fluently in English)
Duration of Private Pilot License (PPL) training
The training can be completed in 10 weeks if you are a full time student, or can be completed over a longer period as a part time student. The training schedule is built around each student’s availability and budget.
With the PPL you can fly anywhere in the world, taking your friends or family along on your journey.
