Night Flying season is coming

Night Flying Time:

Yes, Night Flying season in the Cape Town area is coming, and Aerosport is ready to help you achieve your rating. The season temperatures are increasing and allows for a lesser chance of that pesky fog to prevent you from flying your Night Rating and required Night hours safely.

It’s always harder to complete night flying in the winter season, due to many factors, but mostly the lower temperatures coupled with the smaller temperature/dewpoint spread. This can easily lead to the formation of fog about 3 hours after sunset, and this is bad news for a VFR flight. Even if there is no fog, low cloud that forms during winter will block out the Full Moon that you wait for month after month.

Contact us for your Night Rating quote today, flying the Cessna 172. The rating on the aircraft type can be included in the training.
